Wargoon Flishe will be part of the Home Grown Cinema series at the Parkway Theatre in Minneapolis. It will be showing on Monday, June 2 at 9:30 p.m. It will also be showing at the Black Dog Cafe in lowertown Saint Paul on Sunday, May 19 at 7 p.m. The Black Dog is at 308 Prince Street.
Moviemaker John Akre is a fictional character created by Dr. Hubert Zork, a not so well regarded jazz critic and amateur clarinetist. Akre makes Sloppy Films because he loves movies.
